Horse Rescue

Mission Bay has rescued several horses through the aid of organizations like the Florida Wild Horse and Burro Rescue that have been integrated into our equine family.

Timmy, our latest acquisition, was rescued at five months of age and is developing nicely.  Timmy is a wild mustang who was adopted through the Florida Wild Horse and Burro Rescue program.  This program is affiliated with the Bureau of Land Management's wild horse and burro rescue program, which is charged with protecting them in 10 western states.

Bandit was skin and bones and came to us with no mane or tail.  He has a gentle personality and has taught us all that beauty is only skin deep- the heart is the essence of it!
