Sonya Cohan

Stable Manager and Instructor at Mission Bay,
Sonya teaches not only beginners,
but more advanced students as well. 

Sonya is also certified in therapeutic riding for the handicapped.
An intense study and testing program in California, sponsored by North American Riding for the Handicapped ,was taken to demonstrate proper horse care and teaching skills. This, combined with a background in special education, allows for a solid foundation in relating to children and beginning adults, or adults who are getting back into the saddle.
